Here at Trade The Score, we have invented Sports Markets, which are dynamic battle places for fans to buy and sell pro sports teams, players, and even the live scores of games.

Trading sports is different than every other fantasy sports game. Our original sports markets create liquidity so that traders can jump in and out of markets quickly as the scores are changing.

It’s always free to trade, and when you save up enough credits, you’re rewarded with a free Amazon.com gift card!

How much profit you earn is up to you. There are tons of markets and live games on every day for you to take advantage of.

Getting In The Game

Sports markets are full of momentum swings, surges, and crashes, and since you can buy or sell at any time, you can potentially be switching teams every minute of a live game, making profit with each change in the score.

You can compare a market to a football gridiron:

  • When traders buy the home team, they are pushing the line of scrimmage up the point spread.
  • When traders buy the away team, they are pushing the line of scrimmage down the point spread.

The line of scrimmage is the bright horizontal line in the market - it shows the barrier between home team buyers and away team buyers.

When you buy a team, you have to step over the line of scrimmage to trade with the other side at their best offer.

When you use the large 'BUY' buttons at the bottom of the platform, you enter the market at the current market score ( ), which is shown with the bold ‘BUY’ text in the colored columns, on either side of the line of scrimmage.

Going Deep

Before a live game on TV starts, there is a set score where you can enter the market by buying a trade. Once the game starts, traders like you start pushing the market up and down.

You must eventually exit the market by selling your held trade, even if you wait until the end of the game when you are forced to exit at the final score.

The amount of money you make depends on how much the market moved since you bought your trade –

  • American football and basketball trades earn 25% per point
  • Baseball and Tennis trades earn 50% per point
  • Hockey and Soccer trades earn 100% per point
  • Team and Player trades earn 100% per rank

Manage your position during the game by entering and exiting the market and making profit each trade.

Instead of always trading at the current market offer, you can place waiting orders at whatever score you want, and your trade will be executed once the market reaches your order. Place a waiting order by clicking on the ‘BUY’ text at your chosen score.

Trade Types

The two basic trade types are a Go-With trade and a Fade trade.

When you believe the market will continue to move in the same direction, you make a Go-With Trade. If the Yankees score the first goal of the game, and you think that they will continue to outscore their opponents, then you can make a Go-With trade by buying them – you are going with the current trend.

If you believe that the Yankees’ opponents will make a comeback, you should make a Fade Trade. You believe that the momentum will change directions and the score will move the other way.

The basic logic is that you should buy a team when they show strength and sell them when they show weakness. Keep doing this and you will cash in!

If you believe that the Yankees’ opponents will make a comeback, you should make a Fade Trade. You believe that the momentum will change directions and the score will move the other way.

Welcome to the live battle of Trade The Score Sports Markets. Have fun and don't forget to stop by the forums and say hi!
